Technology is not a major subject; my student does not need it.

Technology is mandated in the middle school level. Students must complete one credit of technology study in order to graduate. At the high school level, technology is an elective; however, technology incorporates all subject areas, and will again help build a solid foundation for a student’s academic success. Students do like technology courses because they are hands on, and are considered more “fun” than learning. However against popular belief of students technology is incorporating skills that the students learn from other areas of study, and by constantly using these tools students will be able to accomplish a higher level of success in those areas.
